"My first experience with this agent was wonderful. But State Farm cancelled my insurance before it was even issued because of prior claims. One was a theft and the other water pipe burst. 3 yrs apart. Not Merrill's fault. So I had to go to Farmers insurance who covered me with better insurance for a better price. BTW. I moved my auto from Merrill as well to get a bundle discount with Farmers. State Farm owed my $99 refund from my auto policy. This was the week prior to Halloween. I asked them to refund it back to my debit card. The lady at Merrill was not rude but was not friendly either and stated that they would mail a check. Ok. I'm thinking early November. NO. December 10 I called Merrill's office again. Not the same friendly conversation that I got when I called the to be my insurance agent. Curt short borderline rude. No refund. Dec 10 they said they would reissue a check. Remember the took it immediately from my checking account. Now it's Dec 19th. No refund. I will say the office manager was nicer but I would still say take your insurance business elsewhere"
